Always growing!
Alright, so I have to admit that I have been discouraged that this site hasn’t picked up many readers except for my wife and mom. Thanks by the way.
It causes me to question all the work I have put into it. I ask myself, “Should I continue this?” When I begin to doubt this I talk to myself, sometimes outloud, and I ask myself why I do it in the first place. I think, “Well if one person is encouraged then it is all worth it, but that isn’t true. I mean it would be great if someone was encouraged, but I need to do it for God and not for myself or anyone for that matter. I write these posts because I want God to be lifted up and His name be glorified.
I have learned that by doing this for God I’m encouraged. I guess God is teaching me to be more like Jesus, and it is very hard. I guess I will just keep trying to grow and focus more on God and less on me.
God thank you for keeping my heart pure even when my flesh wanted more! You have always been patient and kind especially when I walked away. Thank you so much for this outlet to lift up your name and encourage your kids!

Hi Dustin,
Yes, it’s been quite an interesting journey.
Thanks for dropping by.
I’m happy you discovered my blog and it’s not too boring.
Did you end up finding a church? Did you grow up one particular denomination and then switch to another?
Thanks for adding my blog to your blog roll. I’ll do likewise.
Have a wonderful Saturday. I’d definitely like feedback on the other posts I did….the ones that had actual meat to them.

Hi Dustin,
I jumped over here from Aaron’s post about the Pledge of Allegiance. Thanks for your view on it all. It’s rare that we get to hear from someone in active duty and see what things like that mean to them. I’m glad you shared. And as far as picking up blog readers…I think it takes a while. Mine is new too, and I’m seeing that it has a lot to do with connections.
Keep up the good work for the Big Guy in the sky, you’ve got some great insight here!
And thank you for putting your life on the line for our freedoms. And thank you to your wife for supporting you.
Have an awesome day!
