Day 2…
So we took a red eye flight from Honolulu to LA. The morning began when we parked at Huntington Beach where we slept in the car for 3 hours! We were so tired it was ridiculous. After walking on the beautiful beaches we hopped in the car and headed for Hollywood to become stars, ok not really.
We drove around Sunset Blvd, Hollywood Blvd, Santa Monica Blvd and other streets. After driving around and not seeing anything special we bought a map. As we followed the map we went to Mann’s Chinese Theatre only to find some very unique characters. We saw Batgirl, Wonderwoman, Captain Jack Sparrow, who Whitney swore was Johnny Dep until we got closer, and other crazy people. Optimus Prime, from Transformers, rejected taking a picture of me I think because I had a mohawk. Maybe I will become a decepticon, a bad transformer.
Sean Connery’s block
We didn’t want to drive around all day because I could hardly see anything because I was driving, so we got a tour. This tour was to show us celeb’s houses, rodeo drive, Beverly Hills and other snobby places.
The house shown below is David’s Spade’s. He is in great comedies like Joe Dirt, SNL, Dickie Roberts etc. Apparently he hates the tour buses. He throws things at them and even tried to ram his car into one. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see him.
Then we went back to Mann’s Chinese Theatre and ate Mongolian BBQ, which is so good if you haven’t had it. Then we saw more characters like Wolverine, the Flash and Gene Simmons from Kiss. Mind you none of them were real
After that we drove to our hotel, the Sheraton, in downtown LA and went to sleep!
Today is going to be fun because we are driving to Las Vegas where we get to eat the all you can eat buffet at the Bellagio. That is by far the best buffet I have ever had, so we are stoked. I will upload more pictures later to the photo album, so check back soon!

Hey… I just stumbled across your blog, and this post reminded me of a really cool documentary I saw recently. It’s called “Confessions of a Superhero” and it was about some of the people who dress up as characters outside the Chinese Theater. You should check it out, it has some great photography in it.
