I bought this shirt from One Truth and it says, “Hope Never Fails”. While I was wearing it I got so many looks from strangers, and it made me wonder what they were thinking. I wonder if they were looking at it so strangely because their hope always fails. To us christians our hope is in Christ, so it is strong, sturdy, and unwavering. I can’t imagine what how people can live without assurance of an eternal love. I mean people do it everyday, but that doesn’t mean I can understand it.

Have you ever really thought about our Hope? In the New Testament hope meant “a sure thing”. It wasn’t a wish, but a guarantee. So if our Hope is Christ then we know He is our Guarantee for this life. He is our Sure Thing! How comforting is that? I am constantly amazed that we as christians often forget about the Guarantee that Christ is. Take a moment to stop and think about the goodness of God and the Hope that we have in Christ.
