When winter comes many trees lose their leaves because of the cold. Often times they can have the appearance of even being dead. Like our Christian walk we have to endure cold seasons with trials and sufferings to be fruitful in the next season. We often forget that we have to survive the winter in order to get to the summer again. We feel that our trials are going to kill us or leave us empty when in reality God is working our roots deeper and deeper into the ground.

Trees use the winter dormant season establish deeper roots. That is exactly what God does with us. He leads us into a season of trials (winter) to deepen our faith in Him. It is in these seasons where we learn how to love and be loved by God in a new refreshing way. Endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ-2 Tim 2:3. Endure to bring fruit to other Christians and to bless the world!
