It has been almost a month since I stopped shaving and got my mohawk. Here are two recent ones.

Hey Everyone…
I just wanted to introduce you to Cracker, our gnome. We picked him up on our way across country. So far he has been to Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, North and South Carolina, and Virginia. Ok, I’m not NORMALLY a fan of christian videos, but every time I see this I fight back the tears. It is a constant reminder of how much Jesus fights for me. I often forget about the battle going on behind the scenes, so I am thankful for things like this that help me remember.

While hanging out at the Grand Canyon Whitney and I went shopping. We went in to get something to drink and that was when we found a plethora of Grand Canyon merchandise. We found these especially cool racoon hats. Ok, so they aren’t that cool, but they were fun to put on. Enjoy!

Well Whitney and I leave Hawaii tomorrow. This will be for good. ;-( We are very sad to leave, but I am ready for a change. I get ADD very quickly regarding my residence. I often feel like Abraham who left his home to go to a place that God would show him. I’m constantly ready to move to something bigger and better. God will always be with me everywhere that I go, so I’m not worried about housing, money or anything like that. God is so good to me and always has been, so it isn’t too hard to just walk into a place that He calls me to.

I’ll keep ya posted, but we fly out tomorrow night!

Well, I have done it now. I have gone off the deep end. Ok, not really. I just have…..a mohawk! I finished work and I now have a full month off before I have to cut my hair and shave my face. I’ll be taking pictures everyday to show the progress…not that you really care, but this is my site! heh! 

On a more serious note… 

So often we do the same thing everyday and never break out of the pattern of our lives. Now, I’m not saying that you should all go get a mohawk, but it might be cool. I am saying that God made us each unique, but we seem to blend together so well. What about our uniqueness? What about our sense of adventure? 

Some of you might not know, but I am in the Coast Guard. I am currently transferring to Washington DC hence my ability to get a mohawk for a short period of time. My wife and I ALLLLMOST convinced each other to buy a VW Bug and drive it from LA to DC. What an adventure that would have been! I can’t say I wasn’t scared about it, but for a couple moments I was really excited! Well we decided not to, but maybe later in life.

WOOOHOOO! I made my first endurelife T-shirt. I took a black shirt and painted on it with bleach. I’m quite impressed with how it came out. I wrote the words “endurelife” and painted a tree to symbolize our walk in Christ.

We all go through seasons of growing much like a tree. Sometimes we go through seasons where we are pruned to increase our sensitivity to people and God. In these seasons we learn to endure hardship and trials to be stronger in the next season. When we have to endure life we dig our roots deeper into Christ to be more like Him. I hope that you have learned that you have to endure hardship to reap it’s benefits. That is the goal for this website. I hope to encourage you to press into Christ so that you can survive trials and sufferings.

KISS MY FACE! I guess thats better than Kiss My Bum. Well I don’t know if you can tell, but that is an aloe vera stem pouring stuff on the brush. Anyway, I am not surprised anymore what people make and sell. I am interested to try this because I love aloe vera, but I’m a little apprehensive.

Alright…I have had extremely bad experiences with cell phones lately. Over the past year I have gone through three phones! I just bought one off of ebay and it finally came. I plug it in to charge it and the charger isn’t the right one. It will start charging and then just stop. Then I was like, “Ok I’ll make it work.” Then I put all my numbers in one by one, which was a hassle. Then I start trying to find a good ringtone. Maybe Floggin Molly? Nah, Maybe NOFX or Millencolin, or…… BIM BAM BOOM! The phone shuts off. GRRR This is the reason I am replacing my old phone. I think to myself, “Maybe I pressed the off button, so I turn it on and whew it works. No, wait it shut off again! GRRRR. Anyone hate cell phones as much as I do?
